Loma Colorado Main Library invites the Public to a Winter Open House

On December 13 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Loma Colorado Main Library will hold its annual Winter Open House. This year will be a celebration of friends, family, and giving back to the community.

Everyone attending will have a chance to enjoy the reopening of the local history room, create fun crafts (while supplies last), and personally hand-deliver their holiday letters to Santa. To add to the festive atmosphere, live music will be provided by professional harpist, Julianne Rivera. Sweet treats and hot drinks will also be served.

Patrons are invited to donate mittens, hats, and scarves to decorate the Mitten Tree located in the library. The Library will be collecting canned food with all items going to Storehouse West Food Pantry, a local community organization. Unwrapped toys for boys and girls between the ages of toddler and 11 years old can also be dropped off in the Library for the Rio Rancho Police Department’s annual toy drive.

All activities, refreshments, and musical entertainment are generously funded by the Friends of the Library of Rio Rancho.

The Loma Colorado Main Library is located at 755 Loma Colorado Blvd. NE in Rio Rancho.
