Hot Reads for Cold Nights 2018

Hot Reads for Cold Nights: An Adult Reading Program Reading Log
January 2 - February 14, 2018
Cozy up with a good book during the chilly winter weather. Collect treats for reading and be entered into drawings.

Details
Adults (18+) can participate by reading or listening to a book, then filling out a reading log online or in person at either either library.

Win prizes!
* You will receive a treat upon turning in a completed review, while supplies last.
* For each review submitted, you will get an entry in the weekly raffle for a cute mug.
* There will also be weekly contests on our Facebook page.

Additional fun stuff
* Warm Colors for Cold Nights, Jan 4-29, at Loma Colorado. Corrales painter Juan Wijngaard warms up our Adult Winter Reading program with a colorful display of still lifes, landscapes, portraits, and animals, visualized in oil, conté crayon, and charcoal.
* Cup decorating contest, Jan 2-31, at Esther Bone. Decorate a Styrofoam cup, and enter it in a contest. There will be two categories: artwork and stories. Draw a picture, or write a story, entirely on the surface of the cup. Pick up a cup at Esther Bone Memorial Library, beginning Jan 2, and submit your work of art by Jan 31 for judging.
* Blind Date with a Book, Feb 1-14, at Esther Bone. Review a gift-wrapped book and get a sweet treat.
