Bob Tyler
Tyler was elected as District 3 City Councilor in March 2018 to a four-year term. He was re-elected to a four-year term in April 2022. Rio Rancho Governing Body members are elected in non-partisan elections.
Professional Background
Deputy Mayor Tyler is a retired law enforcement officer with over 25 years of experience, and is a veteran who served in the United States Navy.
He currently is a training director for a local public safety services company in New Mexico. Additionally, he has worked as a Vice President and operations manager in the banking industry.
He has had several opportunities to work on his secondary education and his studies have included work force education and development, criminology.
