Fall/Winter Operating Hours (Effective Saturday, August 12, 2023)
Recreation Swim (all ages)
Friday: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: noon to 6 p.m.
All swimmers and non-swimmers must pay to enter the facility during recreation swim hours.
*Swimmers ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a responsible person 16 years of age or older at all times.
Lapp Swim (adults only)
Monday - Thursday: 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday: 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
2 pm. to 7 p.m.
*Please note High school swim teams will begin practice on Monday October 30 thru February M-F from 3:00 –5:00 pm in the competition pool. Only lap lanes in activity pool will be available to public during this time.
Saturday and Sunday: noon to 6 p.m.
Number of available lanes varies throughout the day. Two lap lanes available between 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday-Friday.
The Rio Rancho Aquatic Center is open year-round.
*The Aquatic Center is closed on all observed city holidays.
*The Aquatic Center will be closed the first Monday of every month until 2 p.m. for pool maintenance.
*The Aquatic Center is closed Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
