Karissa Culbreath
Councilor Culbreath was appointed by Mayor Hull and confirmed by the City Council, pursuant to the City Charter, on December 10, 2020 to fill the District 5 City Council seat that was vacated on October 10, 2020.
Culbreath was elected to a four-year term in March 2022.
Education
Culbreath holds a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from Vanderbilt University.
Additional Information
Dr. Culbreath is Medical Director of Infectious Diseases at Tricore Reference Laboratories and Associate Professor of Pathology at University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center.
Culbreath has lived in Rio Rancho since 2012.
