Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a cooperative service among libraries for obtaining items not owned by local libraries. The Rio Rancho Public Libraries lend and borrow items in the contiguous United States.
- An Interlibrary Loan Request Form needs to be filled out for each item requested.
- Individuals requesting ILL items must have an RRPL card in good standing.
- If there are additional fees charged by the lending library, you will be contacted prior to the request being finalized.
- It generally takes 2-6 weeks for ILL requests to be processed and for items to arrive.
- Terms of borrowing, including the due dates, are determined by the lending library.
- Items are picked up and returned to the check-out desk.
- To see which libraries carry the book you are looking for, access WorldCat here.
