Voting Information

To participate in the Municipal Officer Election, an individual must be registered to vote no later than Tuesday, February 4, 2020.

A certificate of voter registration can be completed online via the Voter Information Portal or by filling out a paper voter registration application downloadable from the same website.

Voters can view and make updates to their current voter registration by contacting the Sandoval County Clerk’s Office at 505-867-7577 or online at NM SOS Website.

February 4, 2020 Voters may vote by requesting an absentee ballot beginning 35 days before Election Day.
February 4, 2020 Voters may vote early in the Office of the City Clerk.  Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through February 28, 2020 and February 15, 22, and 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

March 3, 2020 The Municipal Officer Election will take place on the first Tuesday of March in even numbered years. Voting will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Election Day. Voters may vote at any of the polling locations, regardless of where they live in the City, on Election Day.
