Beginning Tuesday, October 13 Aqua Zumba will return from 10:30 - 11:30 am  on Tuesday and Thursdays, with a limit of 8 participants. 


The following precautions and operational changes will be enforced until further notice: 

  • Aqua Zumba Reservation – One spot per class. Call one day ahead to reserve a spot, (Monday for Tuesday and Wednesday for Thursdays)may not attend two consecutive classes unless there is a vacancy to allow for more user equity. Receptionist will call waitlisted patrons after 3:00 p.m.to notify if there are vacancies;
  • Number of swimmers allowed in the facility will be reduced based on physical distancing guidelines;
  • Wearing of face coverings is required when entering the facility and in all areas except the pool;
  • No gatherings on deck will be allowed;
  • Signage will be placed throughout the facility to remind the public of physical distancing;
  • Patrons must wait outside of the facility until their reservation time;
  • When waiting in line outside of the facility, patrons are required to maintain six feet of distance between themselves and others;
  • Individuals showing any symptoms of illness should not use the facility, and high risk individuals are discouraged from using the facility;
  • NO locker use and NO shower use, swimmers must shower at home;
  • All staff will wear face coverings, utilize hand-held whistles, and have an air horn on stand for emergency situations;
  • Comprehensive Disinfectant Procedure – 30 minute gap between reservations to allow for patrons to exit building, staff to disinfect door handles, handrails, deck chairs, lifeguard stands, lane partitions, sinks, soap, restroom stalls, rescue tubes, toilet levers, etc.;  
  • Entry of patrons and exit of patrons will follow separate pathways. All lanes and grid space will be labeled and assigned as necessary;
  • There will be no equipment for patron-sharing usage.

Aquacise Class Descriptions


  • Aqua Zumba: It's a party in the pool integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness movements. It is a safe, challenging workout that's cardio-conditioning, body-toning and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief. 
  • Aqua Fitness: Low impact, high/low intensity, upright, shallow water workout set to music held in the recreation pool.
  • Aqua Cardio: Tone and sculpt your body with not impact to your joints.  This aerobics class is a safe, challenging, workout that blends cardio and resistance training utilizing resistance with buoyant water weights.
  • Deep Water Fitness: Low impact, high intensity, upright, deep water workout designed to increase stamina, endurance and muscle tone held in the competition pool. Flotation belts for support will be provided.
  • Aqua Circuit: Tone and sculpt your body with no impact to your joints. This workout is a blend of cardio and resistance training, and may incorporate tools such as water weights, bands, and noodles.
